Overview

CleverStack is a cloud communication platform that lets businesses run voice, SMS, and WhatsApp conversations from one place, with an auto dialer, call routing, a browser softphone, and conversation analytics.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, I worked on the call-processing backend and reporting modules. The platform runs on Python and FastAPI services with a React frontend on AWS.

  • Increased concurrent call capacity by 40% through FreeSWITCH tuning, async event processing, connection pooling, and horizontal scaling on AWS
  • Optimized call log reports to return in under 500 ms
  • Auto dialer with retry logic, queues, and agent routing
  • Browser-based softphone for agents (see CleverStack Dialer SDK)
  • Voice, SMS, and WhatsApp channels with CRM integration through APIs and webhooks
  • Led a 4-member development team on the platform
