Open-Source Laravel Package · 2026

Laravel WhatsApp

Overview

Laravel WhatsApp is an open-source package that gives Laravel applications a single WhatsApp API backed by two interchangeable drivers: the official Meta WhatsApp Cloud API and a bundled Node.js sidecar built on whatsapp-web.js for personal numbers paired by QR code.

A single WhatsApp facade routes each message to the right backend based on the recipient. The package ships with a Livewire and Flux admin panel for managing sessions, conversations, groups, contacts, and webhooks, and it can also run headless, using only the facade, events, queued jobs, and webhooks.

Key features

  • Dual backend: a pure-PHP Meta Cloud API client and a whatsapp-web.js sidecar behind one facade
  • Sends text, template, image, video, audio, document, sticker, location, contact, reaction, and interactive button/list messages, with edit and delete-for-everyone
  • Livewire + Flux admin UI with dashboard, QR session pairing, chat-style conversations, groups, contacts, and webhook log, in light and dark modes
  • Cloud API webhook receiver with HMAC signature verification and a supervised SSE listener for live updates
  • Queued jobs, inbound-message events, and a whatsapp:health CLI command with JSON output for monitoring
  • Supports Laravel 11, 12, and 13; MIT licensed
  • 4K+ downloads on Packagist
