Overview

Laravel SMPP is an open-source package for connecting Laravel applications directly to SMS centers (SMSCs) over the SMPP protocol, without depending on a third-party HTTP SMS gateway.

It provides a Laravel facade for sending SMS and a documented pattern for running a long-lived listener that receives delivery receipts and incoming messages under Supervisor or systemd.

  • Send single and concatenated (long) SMS with GSM 03.38 or UCS-2 encoding
  • Request and parse delivery receipts (DLRs)
  • Receive mobile-originated (MO) messages
